What happens when you…

…die
During the Tide Pool and Creature phases, you will revert to your previous generation (lose your latest upgrades).

…upgrade your creature’s brain
You gain access to a new column of creature options within the editor

…upgrade your creature’s brain 4 times
Leave the creature phase and enter the Tribal stage of Spore.

…build a UFO
Leave the Civilization phase and enter the Space stage

…enter a Blackhole
Uncertain, you may be ejected somewhere else in the universe. It’s possible the large blackhole at the center of the galaxy is the key to finishing the Space phase.

…terraform a planet
You are creating a new hospitable planet able of supporting life and a productive colony. This can take a fair amount of time to complete though.

…colonize a inhospitable planet
Your colony is placed in a snow globe and it will remain so until the planet is terraformed.

…add a powerful mouth to your creature
You’ve just created a carnivore, it will feed on weaker creatures, especially herbivores.

…mate
Creates a new generation of your creature, allowing you to modify your creature once more.

…make contact with primitive alien lifeforms
They may choose to worship you or fear you. Some say it is better to be feared than loved.

…make contact with intelligent alien lifeforms
Alien civilizations are a great source of trade and can become your allies. The extent of interaction is not known yet, but intergalactic wars appear possible.

…upgrade your main hut a few times (tribal)
Leave the tribal phase and enter the civilization stage
